Hotel Accomodations

Staying at the Mandalay Bay is obviously the most convenient choice. Mandalay Bay and Luxor are connected via an indoor walking corridor. Excalibur is connected to Luxor by a partially indoors walking corridor and also has a free express tram to Mandalay Bay.

New York New York is across Tropicana Ave from Excalibur. You cannot cross at street level, a foot bridge connects Excalibur and New York New York, and another bridge over Las Vegas Blvd. connects New York New York and MGM Grand. There is no tram service from the MGM side of the Strip to Mandalay Bay. Monte Carlo is next to New York New York, the two hotels are not connected indoors.

The Tropicana is directly across Las Vegas Blvd. from Excalibur, and is also accessible by footbridge over Las Vegas Blvd.

These hotels are on the south end of the strip, near McCarran Airport. It's easy to get a cab from the airport to the hotel, just exit the north side of the baggage claim and you'll find the ground transportation area where a never ending stream of taxis await. MGM has a check-in counter at the airport, and shuttle service for a small fee. Harrah's hotels also feature airport check-in.
